La Posada has been a family run business since its introduction to the Canberra restaurant scene in 1997. Current owners Gianni & Stella Guglielmin have continued this tradition, focussing on establishing a true Italian culture from the way service is provided, its ambience and of course its food.
'You can bring your family to dine, have a business lunch, plan a group function, or be a lone business traveller and it manages to be the right place for any occasion. Not many places are like that. It just works!' Tells Stella.
As some may notice from the name, La Posada's roots have a latino flair, which suits Gianni & Stella perfectly. 'There is a shared romance and passion between Italian and South American cultures' explains Gianni.'Our menu and philosophy is Italian, but we love paying homage to La Posada's Latino beginnings'.
Indeed original pizzas are still found on the menu, and the pizzeria's playlist also jumps between modern versions of Italian classics and Latino music providing the perfect atmosphere for our food and wine.
